@Retlouping I’m gonna go do some more digging, big respect for those guys for orchestrating this research, I imagine there were a lot of headaches along the way 😂

@DrJN_SportsMed Interesting! We know at higher torque generally people will dorsiflex more (and therefore garner more knee extension), wonder if this was a driving factor - as obviously more hilly than the average bike ride.
Bit annoyed at this @AVFCOfficial - there wasn’t notification when tickets went on sale (kept checking on ticket page, it used to appear there in advance e.g Munich and Celtic) and they sold out within seconds. Have 2 games in the bag by fluke, no way I’m getting a ticket 😢😢😢
Super summary.
However one barrier that people seem to miss in elite sport is actually the role of team sponsors in all of this. Do they have a responsibility to promote athlete health and sport longevity? “Short term” saddle issues can cause career long problems.

@Pelotrain Super that you’ve had that experience, unfortunately mine has been the opposite, and that’s with prolific manufacturers, despite evidence and despite written documentation of the long term consequences. One of those being an U21 female.
@Pelotrain Nah that’s not what I mean John, I’m referring to the willingness of sponsors to accommodate non “sponsor” saddles in the relevant situations.
