@SazeracNELA I'm not an audiobook consumer (my brain is bad at processing spoken information) but aren't the words what matters? How is this different from using a printing press instead of having a monk copy books by longhand?
@jilltwiss Often it helps to send something to pass the time, like a book of crossword puzzles or Sudoku, or if they'd be into it, an adult coloring book. I also second the suggestion to send them a fun meal from Goldbelly, though that's a more expensive option.
@SazeracNELA I dunno, my high school teachers in the mid-90s banned us from using anything on the internet as a source or reference. As a result, none of us learned how to tell a good internet resource from a bad one.
@chrisbriem When I moved here in the early 2000s I always thought of the city's industrial days being in the distant past. Yet less than five years before I moved here, there was an operating coke plant IN THE CITY, practically within walking distance of my first house.
