@Rasnictem Dang. I'm sorry to hear that. If it weren't for Doug Lewis, I would never have known that a couple of my lousy short stories received honorable mentions in Datlow's Best Fantasy and Horror books. He called me to let me know. Alway incredibly nice to me.

@tfkellogg @joelansdale @AmongMyBooks Tomi was terrific. Doug was nice, too! I miss the Night Voices readings and the whole wonderful Little Bookshop of Horrors. I asked Mr. Lansdale to sign way too many items the night I saw him there, and he did it with a smile. (I was younger an impolite.)

I've published only 11 lousy to mediocre short stories (3 honorable mentions in Year's Best collections, though) and 1 article, so there's no reason the excellent writer @RayGarton should follow me here, but he does. And I'm thrilled. Read his stuff. Ignore mine.
