@jenniferlagarde@DashkaSlater@yalsa I loved this as a follow up to The 57 Bus, which introduced restorative justice to so many. Teachers saw "restorative justice" adopted in careless ways that glossed over the hard work, investment and emotion required of the people involved, and this book shows the resulting harm.
@desusnice@oneunderscore__ Worse, Google is no longer treating Boolean operators as such. We’re losing the basic ability to tell the machines what we want
@StckedLibrarian I’ve had multiple students break bones from jumping off roofs, and one was banned from the mall after getting on the roof. It’s the lure of the abyss 🤷♀️

@blacksheep_127 I interacted with a receptionist on Monday who I could not tell if she was still in the conversation unless she was directly talking to me. It was like she fully disengaged and forgot about me between questions. It was super uncomfortable, but she wasn’t doing anything wrong.
@blacksheep_127 If it’s the first time this has happened, just take the opportunity to observe future interactions. It might be you, but it might not. Some people’s communication styles just don’t mesh.
@izzycolello I know you’re being polite, so I’ll restate. Men who honk or catcall are flexing on women to remind them that they are not safe alone in public. It’s aggressive and abusive, and men, if you see your friends doing it you need to tell them they’re being creeps.
