I wanted to highlight a stock I own and recommend to those that favour dividends and that is Fortis Inc. (TSX:FTS). The company has increased dividends for 38 straight years, has a payout ratio of 48.53%, the dividend has grown 5.64% in the last ten years, the company has had 31 straight years of posting a profit, it has an annual dividend of $2.56 that is paid out quarterly, and the dividend yield is 3.38%.
