@FiveThirtyEight Surprised at lack of comment at 538 and generally about recount rules in various states. Any successful legal challenge is going to start there as most controversy over how to vote was already resolved; the question is were the votes actually cast in line with previous decisions

@PpollingNumbers With right around 4m raw votes per party, a difference of 5% in the defection rate makes this a tie. (95% of Dems for Biden, 90% of GOP for Trump). OTOH, Panhandle stays open later so the raw difference could grow.
