I wanted to expand on what we're building. The AI agent economy isn't some far future thing - it's literally happening rn.

Every time an AI agent makes a prediction, processes data, or executes a trade, it incurs real compute & data costs. Right now, there's no native way for agents to handle these economics themselves.

This is the critical bottleneck: We can build sophisticated AI agents that analyze markets & make decisions, but they can't manage their own resources.

What we built at Nevermined is the protocol that turns every AI computation into a permissionless transaction. When an agent needs to process data or run inference, it can autonomously price & settle that computation.

This matters because the next wave of AI agents won't just trade tokens - they'll form complex networks & swarms, sharing compute & data. Without proper financial infrastructure, this ecosystem hits a wall.

I'm happy today to announce the launch of Factor Capital (@thefactorcap).

After spending the past 20 years working alongside great teams to drive innovation in established industries, I saw an opportunity to apply some of my lessons learned and deploy capital to support founders working to do the same. A growing set of creative entrepreneurs are leveraging blockchain technology to drive meaningful efficiencies in massive markets around the world - from renewable energy finance to funding scientific research and furthering the adoption of responsible and accountable AI.

I began raising our first fund earlier this year and am happy to announce the official launch and first close of the fund today.
