Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s first “Parents’ Night Out” gave New York City parents free childcare for four hours on Aug. 16.

The NYC Parks program offered children ages 6 to 13 dinner and activities while their caregivers got time to themselves.

The NYTimes reported hat some parents went on dates or out to dinner, while others went home to relax, shopped or caught up on laundry.

‘Barbie 2’ is at risk of getting shelved, Variety reports.

Warner Bros. has reportedly made more than six offers to Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling — all of which have been rejected. If a deal is not made in the next four months, the rights revert back to Mattel.

Mattel would not be permitted to use Greta Gerwig’s foundation, and a new potential ‘Barbie’ franchise would have to be a reboot.
