Day Two of the Somalia Internet Governance Forum 2025 #SIGF2025 is underway under the theme “Shaping Somalia’s Digital Future.”

The sessions have begun with insightful presentations, including one by Ms. Ayan Khalif @KhalifAyaan from @DigitalShelter, focusing on the topic: “Who Decides and What We See Online?”

Her presentation explores how online Algorithms, Platforms and Power influence what information we access on the internet, shedding light on both their positive impact and the potential risks they pose, privacy, and digital freedom.
