@Ntsuicidalfosho But religion cannot be blamed as the sole reason for the male dominance. No where does the Quran prescribe for biases against women. Gender inequality is thus, an inherent feature of our society and as you might remember--Hindus have also massively violated Muslim women's rights.
@Ntsuicidalfosho While you make a good point @Ntsuicidalfosho, it is important to realise that misogynist attitudes have always existed against women. Some use religion as a cover (such as in Middle East) to discriminate against women & some do it openly without needing a cover (such as in India)
@babureddyh Because they have a right to be a part of any institution, be it madrasa or a private school/university/working place. Independence of choice it is called.
@babureddyh Again shows your understanding of an issue that is related to an individual’s fundamental right be it in any public space. There is no mandate on uniforms. Please read the Indian constitution.
