Mastodon has just passed over 2 million active monthly users, a new record! People are voting with their feet. The future of social media doesn't have to belong to a billionaire, it can be in the hands of its users.
@waEMD@DNY892 sent you a DM about this. As others have said, the Washington State government should really just stand up it's own instance, but in the mean time you're welcome on our regional instance
Another day of getting fucked by the ORCA card. Made the transfer window by ~30 seconds (due to the bus being 16 minutes late), but still charged for an additional ride. I might actually call and complain this time...
And thanks to @thefinn93 for their work on proving out the Generic Executor for GitLab Runner with a WIP to give us a head start! https://t.co/o9mmSoaKVZ
We need to get in touch with someone on the Play Store team who can help us resolve a problem. After more than 65 days, we are stuck in a feedback loop and it's getting harder to ship Signal updates. Are you a human at Google? Please email us here: [email protected]
@liakhtar@PramilaJayapal Yeah this is 100% a Democrat thing, it's on a site called ActBlue, which seems to be a CMS or something for Democrats.
As for political parties that succeed (or even try at) data privacy, I'm not aware of any in this country.
@AndyNortrup @PramilaJayapal Not complaining about being able to identify the source of political contributions, just collecting any more data about me and abusing the data that's collected.
@liakhtar@PramilaJayapal Email address and phone number are certainly unneeded, and for whatever is required could offer some sort of assurance that they won't use it for anything beyond what is required by law, but of course that would require them to not abuse my data, which they *absolutely* will
@allynfolksjr @PramilaJayapal@jongrant0 I also enter traceable emails for everything, and personally I could probably combat this assault on my basic privacy, but it's wrong and I'm not going to pay money to support the people behind it.
