@GaryMcAllister All the best Gary. Another great loss to the NHS. I did exactly the same after a measly 24 years. Have some time off and don't fret about what comes next. You'll be amazed who comes knocking on the door 👍.
@ianroddis We also got as many fixed devices as we could in. Minimum one each bay and on every bit of wall we could find to get the doctors using those to leave mobile kit for nursing staff. Imprivata tap and go with follow me desktop incentivised them massively !
@ianroddis We are now mainly battery powered wows with removable batteries but fire safety sign off is now an issue as to where we can mount chargers etc. lots of panic whenever there's a lithium battery mentioned even though med devices have been using them for years . iPads for eobs .
@ianroddis We deployed laptops on trolleys. They didn't stand up to the abuse . Chargers constantly disappear even when secured as best you can . They also didn't stand up to the cleaning . Toughbooks or similar would work but ain't no one going to thank you for that !
@nickex5 @jjameswalk And when you get to the point of measuring benefits, especially related to wte reduction and measurable improvements in care, there have been so many other organisational programmes outside of EPR it's nigh on impossible to attribute them.
