Thanks to our generous community partners we just cleaned out our donated goods surplus closet and dropped off a 100 boxes of @NatureValley bars, 16 cases of @POWERADE and @Gatorade and a ton of new towels. Thanks in advance to other organizations for doing the same!

Western North Carolina has been devasted by the catastrophic impacts of Hurricane Helene. In an effort to assist them in the very tough days ahead, we have formed a regional coalition of tourism partners in surrounding counties to make the biggest impact possible with relief supplies.
Moore County followers, please review the list here and feel free to drop these items off at the Moore County Airport, 7895 NC Highway 22, Carthage. Collection locations in other counties will be announced soon, so stand by!

In two weeks the U.S. Open will be decided at Pinehurst No. 2, but today The First Tee — Sandhills students learned a little about golf course maintenance and design from members of the USGA Green Section and the Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Program.
