Ideal if walking in our cities was as stimulating.
Unfortunate that we must instead constantly focus on not ending up in a life-threatening collision with a vehicle.
All those economic rationalisations aside, here is why I am here in a village. This is my walk, here's where I do my thinking.
The ponds are full and the rice paddies planted. Heavenly. 🙏
Kindly cross the road carefully after seeing all the sides and when traffic is less. One minute Wait can save the Life. Wearing helmet is another necessity as per Law also. Don’t forget someone is waiting for you at Home. Stay Safe.@HYDTP

I have had quite a few close calls. I joke about this when I'm low - that I want to be run over by a car but in reality there is a lot to live for. Today, while crossing the road at Jaihind enclave one moron almost ran over me.
“#Pedestrian infrastructure” is an oxymoron. In a place that’s hospitable to people and walking pedestrians don’t need separate “infrastructure”
Thanks, @Joe_Cortright. We couldn't agree more!

While awaiting response, another toilet on footpath. This is opp to Gachibowli Stadium gate. The only good thing is that there is some space to walk unlike the one opposite to Aparna Serene Park.
@Director_EVDM
@CEC_EVDM , Could you do something about these new encroachments?
@KTRTRS , @arvindkumar_ias , Who on earth would build toilets on footpath! This footpath is mostly used by senior citizens for morning/evening walks. You just denied their right to walk!

Loc: Opp to Aparna Serene Park, Masjid Banda, #Kondapur, #Hyderabad
@hydcitypolice@cyberabadpolice@CYBTRAFFIC @RachakondaCop sir, we analysed pedestrian fatalities within GHMC limits between 2017 and 2019 and have summed up our findings here
