1. Do a course
2. Do coding challenges
3. Practice min 1 hour a day
4. Create a personal project

It may seem hard, but once you’ve got the consistency on lock it will start to get easier.

@vowiz67 @xaelbot Also, technically you could make a github account for smaller practice projects and one for bigger "portfolio" projects if you're really worried about it 🤷‍♀️ or seperate repos for each, which is what I do ... hope that helped

@vowiz67 @xaelbot I'd personally say start with git as soon as possible to get familiar with it. It should almost be a habit before going to bigger projects (I started with git way too late in my opinion and I periodically forgot to do it leading to super big commits that're hard to keep track of)

Struggling to keep up to date with my reports so day 12-16 in a nutshell:

➡️ Got lost in a rabbit hole of overdesigning the first @freeCodeCamp tribute page project and frustrated when my header area was bigger than 100% view height, got it fixed though! [1/?]

➡️ #flexbox came to the rescue, should probably refamiliarize myself with #CSS #grid too at some point

➡️ got distracted by an issue while writing my 2nd #blog post in my "Working with #Windows" series (https://t.co/Va33b0w3xR)

➡️ Wrote a long blog post about that too 🤷‍♀️

Frustrated with #Windows right now ... I can log into my account perfectly after starting my computer, yet when I enter the same password to access my mail, it's somehow wrong ... how?!

Problem #1 & #2 solved:
➡️ The user account I forgot the password for has been deleted since it hadn't been used yet anyway ... set up a local account instead (and wrote down the password ha!)

➡️ The account I'm on right now was apparently breached, password was reset! #win

@zealigan @xaelbot Teaching English as a second language has helped me in 2 big ways: understanding syntax of a language comes more natural to me and I'm good at breaking down/structuring bigger wholes into smaller parts that not only make sense to me but to others as well

Bonus post: Not sure if I'm entirely convinced about #Brackets after being used to #VSCode, but I wanted to try a different editor. Sure miss that nice feature VSCode has showing the exact changes made to your working tree. #badmemory

Decided to go back to the #freeCodeCamp curriculum to brush up on my #html/#css after focusing on #PowerShell and #Jekyll and start from scratch with the projects to build out my #portfolio

➡️ Learned the #design side of #webdev isn't really my strong suit, though I do so love playing around with it. Now to just make it not seem like a kid made it ... (okay, it's really not THAT bad, I swear!)
