Since I finished my PhD in 2022 I have been back at least once a year. I was a student athlete and it’s so much more than athletics.

When a binary neutron star collision creates short gamma-ray bursts, some of the heaviest elements found on Earth, like gold and platinum, are produced. Recently deployed from the @Space_Station, our BurstCube satellite may help us learn about their creation during these events.
