List of the worst “journalist” parasites in Pro Golf right now:
1. Trey Wingo @wingoz
2. Kyle Porter @KylePorterNS
3. Dan Rapport @Daniel_Rapaport
4. Brandel Chamblee @chambleebrandel
Nothing they say isn’t bought and paid for. Merchants of bad opinions, and short on facts.
I admire Brooks Koepka playing lesser events to get his world ranking up and Patrick Reed sitting out his suspension until August. Accordingly, #pgatour should show no favouritism (no mercy!) to any LIV golfers seeking a quick return.
"Genuine question, before anybody starts their nonsense..."
Will wait for the "thanks for proving my point, moron" response.
Michael working through a whiteboard full of chatGPT generated questions slowly, under the banner of journalism. 🤦♂️
@MattVincenziPGA Matt why do you continue to do this? You get offended that people criticize or joke online, you go 0-100 constantly, you even have come at me before when I asked a question thinking it was a joke. Maybe slow the fuck down and log off. It’s kinda a joke now.
“tHE SAUdi’S wiLL cUt thE COndUiT”
But you all said that in 2025, Jon. And 2024, and 2023….
You guys should just put a firm date on it, so I can slot it in the calendar and keep it open.
I think anyone that generates revenue from/around the PGAT can sit the hell down when it comes to moral high ground sermons on LIV.
You are just not credible.
Likewise, anyone profitting from LIV related activities throwing stones at the PGAT can STFU as well.
The bubble of irrational and unsustainable Saudi funding that led to grossly overpaying greedy golfers is the crux of why LIV is met with hate by (primarily US-based) golf fans at large.
I don’t want LIV to die. I do want the best players in the world to play against each other on the same tour again.
LIV in 2027 probably looks more like the Asian Tour. Tiny purses, playing for a share of the actual revenue they can generate via sponsors and O&O monetization (TV deals & commercials, merch, ticketing, etc.).
We will see the best players walk back the “grow the game” rhetoric when the Saudi well runs dry.
Good players (Bryson, Rahm, Hatton, Niemann) will bend over backwards to get back on the PGA Tour. Old veterans (Poulter, McDowell, Westwood, Bland) may stick it out on LIV and play for peanuts. The rest will be caught in limbo.
Incredible hubris and humility on display and I cannot wait to see it all unfold.
