Sometimes, when I'm alone, I write so that I feel like I'm with people. Sometimes, when I'm with people, I write so that I feel like I'm alone.

@cackjollins In fairness, it’s the most dramatic thunder I’ve heard in Ireland ever. Only compares to US storms in July.

@OisinMcGann I was doing mine recently and genuinely thought I must be missing a trick in using it - surely they can’t have designed a machine where you can’t see the read out while you do it. And apparently they are virtually all inaccurately calibrated, tyre specialist told me last week!

@BlaisinSquad @poetryireland Ay. Ay. Ay. Ay. Ay.

[Sarah O'Connor @theghoststation]

I don’t know if I posted this here - the poem selected by @publishingwomen, @ArlenHouse and @NualaNiC for Washing Women Too.

My first publication in an anthology, properly in between covers of a book. What a privilege and honour to feature among these talented poets.

@MissLizBerry @R3TheVerb Mo cheol thú. It means: I praise you. More literally: my music to you. Love it. Whisper it in my head to people all the time.

[Sarah O'Connor @theghoststation]

@charley_psych It’s your thesis. Be you. Thank all your people, regardless of the form in which they materialize!

[Sarah O'Connor @theghoststation]

@fascicles @RebeccaJCuth @Danez_Smif I follow them on twitter. But actually, I have no book of theirs to hand - a situation I should rectify!

[Sarah O'Connor @theghoststation]

@fascicles You might like any of these?
