@ronsterd89 It’s their money, so yes, they can do whatever they wish with it. As far as inheritance goes, children get no say until it’s formally bequeathed to them & is in their pocket. Seriously. Those folks who think their parents OWE them up until and after death? Grow up. Become adult!
@NatalyaOba Maybe it’s time for restaurant owners to change their business models. When I first moved to Italy—&because I’d been a waitress myself—I left a generous tip on the lunch table.
The owner of the restaurant was truly offended that I didn’t think he could afford to pay his staff.
@elonmusk If this is so disturbing, why aren’t the mega-wealthy (who truly influence politics) talking about how to raise wages so those 90% couples can afford more children & keep a standard of living that reflects well being? This is a sincere question about the disconnect I see around.
@joeroganhq If we took the time to create a system where people had the chance to contribute and receive an economic exchange that afforded self sustainment, we wouldn’t need welfare. It would require a different kind of education system and most decidedly a shift in our economics, but…
@Avabelly__ Tell the manager. That’s just BAD customer service. And… take his advice. Do not dine there. Ever again. OR, if you love the food, specifically ask for any waiter but him.
Food for thought amidst laughter from the king of comedy.
May we take a moment to THINK about what we’re creating through our actions.
Instead of going for the attention of clicks, let’s go for the community of stars, eh?
@eurofounder I’m an expat in Italy. I covered University expenses waitressing so I understand America’s tipping culture as well as Europe’s non tipping one.
Tips began ‘To Insure Promptness’ for in-person service
A tip on a PRODUCT (ie:AirBNB?) That’s just silly. Set your prices. Period.
@Avabelly__ Keep your son away from the beach because she’s covered by comparison. Ban him from shopping malls, too, that have Victoria Secrets & any other lingerie shops. Or if the issue is body identification, learn to love yours to where seeing another woman in shorts & a crop top is fine
@timburchett I’m wondering… when will the intelligent ones stop the name calling before it drags everything down in the tearing us apart? On so many counts, I count you, Tim Burchett, as one of the intelligent ones. I’m wondering how correct or incorrect that will turn out to be?
@iqrafatma1278 Excuse me, but are you serious? Receive your money. It’s still money for services rendered. I don’t get the attitude. If it was that heavy of an emotional ordeal for yourself, then why did you take it? You could’ve asked him to donate it to the hungry. That simple.
@Eman_8282 I like the haircut in the woman in the pic. Not sure what it has to do with you considering your profile pic. The difference in ages could be mother and daughter. 🤷♀️
@Monica55dzrh Love is measured by the size of a ring? In an of itself, the logic is flawed. Yet, that logic does fit the prevailing idea that appearance is more valuable than substance in a society that is willing to go into deep debt for the sake of appearance. May they be happy & debt free!
@JoeRoganRecaps@GambaWatcher Blinks of the eye pastes together ‘now’ snippets to create the idea of linear progression. Ex: you can look at a past event in your life, reframe it, see it differently& it creates a new trajectory for your life. Overlap personal experience w/ other’s & that’s tapestry of time.
@Monica55dzrh My first thought: What would @DaveRamsey say?
My guess is it would be a big no with an entire list of why.
Maybe I’m wrong. Why not call into his show? He’ll ask for a bigger financial picture and give advice more sound than what you’d get here on X.
@Eman_8282 If you like to dance: B (The skirt line lives dance moves).
If you like to stand with a cocktail in your hand and aren’t going to be moving much: A
@Zarish5062 Yes! Be excited. Find a job. Learn to make your way in the world and show yourself what you’re capable of! You can’t do that living in your parent’s home and your childhood room. You’ve got this. Go discover your life!
@BryceZabel@hollywoodufos I somehow find it very sad. But, I CAN see how some good can come out of it because it might turn around some who’ve blindly followed him before & will do so for this turn. Still. It’s an ugly look for him to jump on a rising tide of interest when he’s only showed disdain before.
@RedPandaKoala It’s been interesting to watch that unfold. I’m glad to see someone said it out loud. On the positive side, he will inadvertently help acclimatize those who’ve habitually ridiculed the idea of other kinds of sentient intelligences.
