Promises are cheap, but delivery is rare. The last couple of weeks we had some major announcements with Xbox, Studio Chain, Arbitrum, IGN & Steam. Our roadmap is alive and kicking and we’re powering through the milestones! Yet there is much more still to come.... To that end, here is an update 👇

Web3 & Blockchain - Web3 shouldn't be an option, it should be the standard!

- Blockchain: If you have not already heard, the KARRAT Foundation has teamed up with Arbitrum and Caldera to launch Studio Chain. My Pet Hooligan is expecting to start testing on Studio Chain Testnet imminently. This will give us the architecture and platform to start to deliver on all of our Web3 goals, sinks and activations in the way we want with great efficiency and with $KARRAT at the heart of it all. We're gonna get creative, we're gonna have fun. This is BIG for our next phase and rollout and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store.
- Website: You may have seen our new Website is also up, this introduces a new UI that will extend across the user account system and marketplace. In the coming weeks you will start to see more features go live on the site and account system including game stats and the ability to connect multiple wallets. Street Kred will also be coming back, as will the Zuckbot claims feature. That reminds us, Street Kred rewards for last month are ready to go out!
- Wallet solution: A new embedded wallet solution is imminent that will live in the user accounts process, this will automatically be able to make you a wallet as a new user with one-click. This is to help to onboard more traditional, less crypto savvy, gamers to crypto
- WinVote: Constantly under development. The next push is imminent and will improve UI and Quality of Life, there will also be some back–end reconfiguration to clear out some of the bugs.
- Street Kred: SK for ownership is ready and will be available in the next build. You will start to accrue SK just by holding MPH assets. This will be in a basic form to start with as we test it. We know there is a lot of community discussion around multipliers, so stay tuned for more on that.

The Game - A new build is due imminently and as always there are new things to expect!

- World Events System: MVP of the world event system is in! This will facilitate events, missions and activities intimately tied to the story and lore of the MPH universe.
- Hideouts V1: We have been teasing Hideouts and the first version of this will be available in the new build. Hideouts will service an entirely different player with a focus on exploration, collecting and NFT extracting
Console Program: The console program is a huge focus for the studio right now and has always been important for distribution and getting to a demographic of players we know want and need MPH in their lives. It's been apparent from the years of events we have hit, that consoles were a major play for MPH and it is no longer a dream but a reality. You have heard by now MPH is coming to Xbox. Xbox isn't the only console out there either so expect to hear about more soon…
- AI: Early experiments in integrating AI characters into the MPH game. The Others & AI integration focus is now on the game side and how the game can be used as a distribution method for the technology too.
- We are getting in a great place in terms of fundamentals and distribution. We are now working hard on elements to boost retention and attract new players with a focus on engaging game loops. Make sure you wishlist on Steam and Xbox too!
- More Good Stuff, Good Stuff to look forward to include weapon skins, animations, a new battle zone and seeing your Zuckbots in the game. These may make it in this build, if not shortly after!

The Movie - This will be getting its own thread! Expect an update soon and get ready to see the new poster. It's a banger and you're gonna want it on your wall!

Tournaments & esports - Next on the schedule is the MPH 4v4 Swiss Invitational in April!

- 16 teams per region, each with a $5000 prize pool
- South America 5th April, North America 6th April, Europe 12th April & Asia 13th April 2025
- This is an invite only tournament, however if you want to get involved its easy to get in touch!

We've been working incredibly hard, as the My Pet Hooligan game has been in pre-Alpha for a while now. It is imperative we move to an official Alpha release and get further distribution in line for a big go-to-market push. The main focus of the entire studio in closing out the year and going into Q1 2025 is getting our product market fit and ready for the masses. Off the Grid has shown you what's possible, My Pet Hooligan is up next!

We have been heads down working on the infrastructure to support these areas of development:

- World Events System - Think multiplayer boss battles, multiplayer hordes, environmental changes, community challenges and dynamic storytelling
- Day 1 Experience - My Pet Hooligan is steeped in lore and comedy, we are building that in. The Day 1 experience will include story, tutorials and initials quests to introduce core mechanics
- Progression System - Having a rewarding journey for players and a sense of growth and accomplishment. Including a mix of unlockables and customizations.
- Faction Rep System - The seven factions are there for a reason. It's about time we made you pledge your allegiance and allow you to collective build your Factions reputation. With unique quests, rewards and player choices.

As always, we are also working on environments, sound, further optimizations, UI and immersion. The game is our vessel for all our areas of innovation and development! What else do you want to see?..

Crypto
We're finalizing the crypto architecture of the game. You have started to see building blocks go out. It's important to know that with the lack of maturity in the wider gaming industry and trying to reach a big audience we have to be innovative, creative and flexible. There are a number of areas that need to work seamlessly together eg. wallet, payment solutions, marketplaces, crypto on-ramps and blockchains.

All are easy to do in isolation but weaving them together, whilst being able to be on all the top distribution platforms eg. Steam, Playstation, Xbox and conform to their requirements, whilst still having a frictionless experience for the end user is not a well trodden path. We at My Pet Hooligan believe we are building it and we are closing in on this every day and having to be able to adapt constantly as the industry and technological solutions evolve.

Oh also My Pet Hooligan as of last week is no longer under contract with Polygon!

Base, Solana, Avalanche, Immutable or our own L2 or AppChain?... What happens next, wait and see!

The Others, Zuckbots, NFT rewards systems
Is the traditional mechanism of minting NFTs and extracting from the community still the best distribution system or do we need to be more innovative? We believe the latter.

The Others are still coming, Zuckbots will rise again, and genesis Hooligan holders are still King and will always be looked after. We believe we can do things bigger and better and with all the focus on the game build right now, we don't need to jump the gun.

WinVote
WinVote is nearing product readiness. The team has been fine tuning, and the experience is rapidly improving. As Kevin Mack would say “Make it work, make it right, make it fast”.

As we get the WinVote product ready, we will be starting to go to market in the next few weeks. Expect more clients, features, more chains and more integrations.

Access to WinVote for other communities and organizations wishing to use WinVote will be secured through licenses that utilize $KARRAT.

Tournament
The My Pet Hooligan communities cup preparations are underway, with over 40 communities already signed up. The tournament is coming in December, in-line with the game's next big patch. 64 teams of 4 will be battling it out and there can only be one winner. The grand final will be held on the front page on Twitch and expect to see some big faces too!

TON, AI agents and other metas
Can we make a Telegram App, can we launch an AI run X account. Although it's never been our policy to chase the latest trends. We can do all of these things and will always consider them and weigh up benefits vs. resources. Are these metas worth chasing or should we stick to our guns?..

Just know when things are quiet, it means we are heads down building, innovating and firefighting all in the name of making My Pet Hooligan THE standout Crypto Game and IP.
