My bank asked for 17 PDFs for a mortgage.

So I built PDFx: an open-source, backwards-compatible spec to pack multiple files into one PDF.

Opens normally in Chrome
It becomes a 2D spatial canvas layout in its React runtime. Pages extend horizontally, files vertically.

@Eric_Smith08 @Arcane_Aii I was drowning in documents for my mortgage application. I'm glad that you find it helpful!

@Arcane_Aii Thank you so much for reposting my work. I highly appreciate it!

🚨 BANK ASKED FOR 17 PDFs FOR A MORTGAGE, SO SOMEONE BUILT THIS

Tired of bouncing between files, merging into massive confusing documents, and confusing everyone involved?

A builder created PDFx — a 2D canvas for PDFs.

• Scroll horizontally through pages of one document

• Scroll vertically through multiple files

• Drop images or pages anywhere

• Import entire folders in seconds

It feels like Figma or Canva, but built specifically for messy PDF workflows.

And the best part? It’s fully backwards-compatible — opens as a normal (long) PDF in Chrome/Acrobat, but inside the app it becomes a beautiful infinite 2D workspace thanks to smart metadata.

No more chaos. Just clean, visual document management.

As @steipete suggested, I used agentic loops to map out the entire spec architecture.

Since you lived in both worlds (PDF + agent loops), I'm curious to get your thoughts on using agentic workflows to manipulate legacy document standards, Peter!

@KentonVarda @threepointone Clifast parses function signatures, types and JSDoc comments to build a --help command that helps LLMs navigate and explore input arguments.

Imported/exported functions are also supported. Code Mode and Claude Code can execute CLIs effectively, without parsing entire files.

[Alexandros Gounis @thegounis]

MCP servers can be hard to build and maintain, often token-hungry.

Cloudflare's Code Mode improves this for APIs as @KentonVarda and @threepointone showed.

So I built Clifast:

Turn any TS/JS file or repo into a CLI in one command:

@bruno_simon It could be a 3D certificate like this NextJs ticket (but also available as pdf)

Since people could cheat by scrubbing quickly or watching half of the videos, how about having a performance related quiz at the end?

[Alexandros Gounis @thegounis]

@bruno_simon I'm wondering if Unity (compiled for the web) is a decent solution these days. I can't even imagine the amount of time we would have to spend to create something like this with WebGL (even using shortcuts like r3f and controls)
