The number of times I've felt a fire in my chest while reading this book is unreasonable. Or it's just heartburn.

@shivi1026 I don't agree, college gives structure, system and a place for young people to go to, for them to be themselves, message around find friends.
Academically too it gives us the minimum amount of things we have to do.
Stop Calling Yourself an Engineer:
I’m sick of people throwing around the word engineer like it means nothing. You didn’t engineer shit. You slapped together a website template, tweaked some CSS, maybe glued a few APIs, and suddenly you think you belong in the same league as people who build rockets, design semiconductors, or invent medical devices? Spare me.
The title engineer used to mean something sacred mastery of math, physics, design, and the courage to build things that can break, kill, or revolutionize. Now it’s a participation trophy for anyone who can push code to GitHub.
And don’t even get me started on colleges. Especially the so-called top ones. They’ve turned into placement factories churning out “software engineers” who can barely invert a matrix, let alone invent anything. Placement cells? Burn them to the ground. If you want a job, go apply for one. Universities should exist for only one thing: real engineering and serious research.
Until we fix this, we’ll keep producing armies of resume-builders who’ve never engineered a damn thing in their lives.
