When you think anxiety/thoughts are terrible the body reacts accordingly: with anxiety. It’s cyclical.
This internal struggle meant to calm our body only sensitizes it.
You MUST learn to let go of perpetual control of how you feel b/c it’s making you feel terrible.

Checking indicates fear. If we weren't afraid, we wouldn't check.
It's often an unconscious habit so we must make an effort to stop it.

The barriers to recovery are the things you to do prevent yourself from feeling anxiety.
We want to recover but we don't want to experience the short term anxiety spike that is required.
