The Heritage Project targets SDG 4, which is quality education. Quality education in
Nigeria is expensive, and the situation is dire in public secondary schools. This
project seeks to engage young people and to awaken their creative minds!
If we fail to protect our children and the youth of this country, we would have failed to create an environment where children can learn and thrive. We at The Heritage Project stand against police brutality in Nigeria and across the world. #endsars#endpolicebrutality
It’s #internationalliteracyday today and days like this make us reflect on why we do what we do at the book club. Education is the best gift anyone can get. Thus, every child should have a shot at it, privileged or underprivileged.
Dear YOU,
Behind every success story are uncountable REJECTIONS. But never give up, all you need is one YES, to cancel every NO you’ve gotten.
Keep putting in the work, as you never know how close you are to your blow up.
Also, NEVER FEEL ENTITLED TO WIN.

Hello folks, recently there’s been a proliferation of rape in Nigeria which it’s very sad.
We’re lending our voice to movement to stop all forms of sexual violence.
Together, let’s raise the next generation right.

Everyday there’s one Rape story or the other. I’m knackered.
You wear clothes or not, you’re not safe. You stay in your house or go to church/mosque, the tragedy still befalls you.
Being a woman is not a crime.

One of the important structures at @UCT_news was having Gender Marshals at parties.
As a survivor support officer of @UCTOIC, we were trained to gender marshal at ALL school parties. Basically, we were to prevent things such as groping and all forms of harassment...
Notice how the man was struggling to make a simple logical and coherent point when asked in reverse the question about women insulting men and getting raped.
That’s how stupid many of you sound when you try to rationalise Rape.
There is No justification for rape whatsoever.
I really do miss my book club kids at @theheritagework . I reached it to some of them sometime ago, and they’re literally just home doing nothing.
Can’t afford e-learning or anything.
I really can’t wait for schools to reopen so they can get their lives back. 😒
I don’t know who is selling this idea to young people that doing music is mutually exclusive to other things.
Like you can excel at school and still do music too. It doesn’t have to be one for the other, and kids must know this.
People are in their homes, and these robbers came to meet them.
‘Be careful, be careful’... how much more care can you take? Like where else can you run to??
I’ve never been this scared, because you don’t know what to expect with the whole unrest in Ijesha/Aguda Surulere.
