Almost 80% of Iceland is uninhabited.

Much of that terrain consists of highlands, mountain peaks and fjords.

Iceland grows by 5 cm every year.

The tectonic plates are constantly pulling the country apart causing earthquakes, and sometimes, volcanic eruptions.
