My sister sent out 47 job applications.
Not a single callback. Not one interview.
Then I ran her resume through ChatGPT with 7 targeted prompts.
13 replies in 7 days. Dream job offer accepted.
Here's exactly what I typed:
How to structure a CV so recruiters don't have to work to understand it:
1. One CV per job application, not one CV for everything
2. Lead with impact, not job duties: numbers first, task second
3. Match keywords from the job description exactly, ATS systems scan for this
4. Keep it to 2 pages max unless you're in academia
Let me add to the list
1. Remove irrelevant information, your CV isn’t supposed to document your entire working life.
2. Make your level obvious, don’t rely on years of experience alone to communicate seniority. Your titles, responsibilities and scope of work should make your level clear.
3. Keep the formatting simple. Distinct headings, consistent dates and readable spacing make your CV easier to scan.
4. Make your career progression visible, If you were promoted within the same company, list each role separately with its dates and responsibilities so recruiters can see how your level and scope increased.
In today’s job market, your resume is not enough.
You need to show what you can do. Customer service rep, admin assistant, writer, sales associate, it doesn’t matter the role, you need a portfolio.
Here are 7 AI sites where you can build your portfolio with simple prompts:

Upload your cv to CLAUDE or CHATGPT and try the exact prompts I used :
I don’t get angry when people can’t fulfil a promise. I get disappointed when they make the promise knowing very well they have no intention of keeping it. Your word should mean something.

People underestimate the impact trauma can have on the human mind. Sometimes, something that seems small to others can trigger a panic attack simply because it reminds someone of what they’ve been through.
