This included finding strategies and tactics you can use to overcome this tendency and get shit done ๐ช
Here's what I discovered๐
@kunchenguid Tried this - effortLevel isn't in my settings schema (rejected on save). Closest I found is alwaysThinkingEnabled: true combined with CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ADAPTIVE_THINKING. Did effortLevel work for you directly or are you on a different CC version maybe?
Didnโt realize this before but Portfolio Strategy as an indie hacker is ironically very much like being a VC investor but in your own projects
You bet on multiple horses just like the VCs do
But you get 100% of the profits
My morning routine has gone out the window due to an international project I'm working on.
I miss having one. Why?
- Spend time with family
- Sets the tone for the day
- Reduces stress and anxiety
- Boosts creativity and motivation
Otherwise, I feel like I'm playing catch-up๐
Got a number of different projects on the go?
Is your time and money limited?
Ask yourself:
"What is the highest impact work I can do this week?"
Fill your jar (of work) with big stones first, not grains of sand.
Deprioritize low-hanging fruit and go for the big swings โพ
I identify as a:
- Father
- Creator
- Consultant
- Entrepreneur
- Chief Procrastination Officer (CPO)
But these labels are just a small part of who I am.
The key is to not get too hung up on labeling what you do.
