In a new interview with Semafor, Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-MI) was asked whether she plans to support Abdul El-Sayed if he wins the Michigan Democratic Senate primary.

Her response: "I will not stand beside someone who has allowed distinctly anti-American sentiment to enter our public dialogue."

I am supporting Dr Abdul El Sayed because I want to send an epidemiologist to the Senate.

I want an epidemiologist voting on legislation about our healthcare.

In 2027, just after midterms, Trump plans to eliminate a program that gives insurance companies an estimated $3.6 billion in subsidies a year to blunt increases in premiums for the Medicare prescription plans, known as Part D. The program will end after 2026, according to regime officials.
