Just finished a series on policy guidelines. Superintendents and school boards, it is up to you! You are the front-line. You need to take the lead. It is on you to start enacting data policies to help students succeed.

District policy guideline #5: Stakeholder Engagement is Critical
The teachers, counselors, and principals that will be using the data should be involved in the creation of district-level data policies. Access and use differs across stakeholder and each level is important.
District policy guideline #4: Data Is Used for Different Purposes
Curriculum improvement, intervening with struggling students, putting together accommodations, and talking with parents are all situations that need different data at different granularities at different times.
