Charlie Kirk told me that in a brief interview for Breitbart in 2023, the only time I ever got to meet him.

This is who he was: unafraid to speak the truth, whether it was about politics, culture, or the church. I didn’t get to fully express to him how much interviewing him meant to me.

Fresh out of college in 2020 and not into politics, I took a job at a local NBC station, reporting mostly on local feature news and crime. The world took a turn for the worse with the pandemic, BLM, and the election, and I found myself surrounded by leftists who cheered for riots and laughed when Republicans got sick with COVID.

The Charlie Kirk Show was one of a few shows I began listening to on my 45-minute commute. He taught me about conservatism. He taught me about how my Christian faith should influence how I move through the world. I began pleading with God to move me to a job where I could be true to these values.

Flash forward to 2023: Breitbart had given me a chance as a young journalist, and in a full circle moment, I got to meet Charlie as a fellow warrior in the fight for our nation at a TPUSA conference. From crying in my car, driving to a job I hated, to sitting across from the voice of my generation. God is so good.

I will never forget meeting him. I will never forget how God answers prayers.

My heart grieves for his wife and children, his many friends, and the millions of people who tuned in to listen to him daily. We must continue the fight.

Treasury is creating new guidance after a court dismissed an IRS agreement this week that would have created an exemption to the amendment and allowed churches to endorse political candidates.

🚨 BREAKING: The Supreme Court just handed a historic victory to parents over California's secret gender transition policies today, ruling 6-2 in our case Mirabelli v. Bonta.

California required schools to secretly facilitate children's gender transitions without telling parents. Teachers were forced to use different names and pronouns behind parents' backs. One family only found out their daughter had been transitioning at school after she attempted suicide.

Today the Court said: enough. The justices found that California's secrecy regime likely violates both the First Amendment and the Fourteenth Amendment's protection of parental rights. The Court held that California "cut out the primary protectors of children's best interests: their parents."

What makes this decision groundbreaking: the Court reaffirmed that parents—not the state—have the constitutional right to direct the upbringing of their children and to participate in decisions about their children's mental health. Even Justice Kagan in dissent said she has "no doubt" parents have these rights and that California "could have crossed the constitutional line."

The class-wide injunction blocking California's policies is back in effect for a statewide class of parents. This is a historic just a win for parents and a precedent that puts every secret gender transition policy in America on notice.

President Donald Trump destroyed pro-transgender Democrats at the State of the Union address on Tuesday who refused to stand when the president demanded the end of schools secretly transitioning children without parental knowledge or consent.

“Look — nobody stands up. These people are crazy. I’m telling you — they’re crazy,” the 45th and 47th president proclaimed, while aggressively pointing at rows of indignant Democrats. “We’re lucky we have a country with people like this. Democrats are destroying our country, but we’ve stopped it just in the nick of time, didn’t we?”
