@ragastelle yeah like from a fan standpoint I had a super fun time but from a writer standpoint I felt so unsatisfied that at the end I was just confused
I’m all for writers keeping things open-ended and not explaining every little thing but there’s a difference between that and seemingly throwing away all of the foreshadowing and character development built up over every other episode for a finale that seems almost non-canon
@brookstweetz it’s so bad 😭😭 idk what’s gotten into people but it’s like every movie I go to now has people coming and going throughout the whole thing, talking at an almost normal volume, using their phone flashlight, or watching reels during the movie
@DefectivePigg YES I didn’t pick up on how big the time skip was at first and thought his change in behavior was so sudden and out of place. By the end of the scene I figured out he’d been in there awhile, but I would’ve loved to see more of a descent into madness type deal
in the middle of backrooms this couple came in, walked up and down the aisles to find the best seats, and at a normal volume kept asking people to move out of their way while shoving past everyone. I’ve never been closer to causing a scene in a theater before
BACKROOMS SPOILERS //////
Absolutely loved the movie, especially the found footage bits, I just think Clark’s character would’ve benefited from more of an on-screen descent into madness rather than a massive time skip, but that’s also bc I’m just greedy for more backrooms tbh
