Whenever questions begin to surface about a Nigerian President’s whereabouts, it is interesting how quickly photographs of the President with influential Nigerians suddenly appear...
Femi Otedola may have chosen the timing of his latest photographs with President Tinubu, but Nigerians are grown adults. We deserve straightforward communication, not political theatre or carefully timed photographs being used to settle legitimate questions.
We have seen versions of this before.
During Muhammadu Buhari’s prolonged medical absence in 2017, photographs of him meeting political leaders in London were released amid widespread questions about his health and whereabouts. In the Yar’Adua era, Nigerians similarly faced months of uncertainty and limited information about the President’s condition and location.
The lesson from those episodes should be simple: when the public asks a legitimate question about the whereabouts of its President, answer the question directly.
A photograph with influential people may show that a meeting happened. It does not automatically answer every question Nigerians are asking.
We are grown adults. Treat Nigerians like adults.
Grey’s Anatomy — Season 1
It isn't perfect, but there’s something about this season that keeps pulling me back.
The characters feel flawed, emotional, ambitious, funny, and sometimes incredibly frustrating.
I love that they don’t always make the right choices, because it makes their struggles feel more real.
Some moments had me completely invested, while others honestly made me want to yell at the screen.
Has anyone else been thinking about how John Stewart suddenly became THIS wealthy? Because I feel like I missed something.
Ten years ago this man looked like he was barely holding his life together and now he’s out here looking like a multimillionaire. He can bankroll his brother’s music and then Maggie asks for $315K and John is less concerned about the amount. And then there’s the fact that he was supposed to have this major meeting with billionaires but was more concerned with digging up Hal’s grave.
A few months ago, a friend of mine lost his job, and things became really difficult for him. He could barely pay his rent, and from the way he was struggling, I could tell he was under a lot of pressure.
He was my friend, so I couldn't just watch him go through all that.
I had a spare room in my apartment that wasn't being used, so I told him he could come and stay with me for a while.
I told him he didn't need to worry about rent or anything like that for the time being. I just wanted him to have somewhere comfortable to stay while he figured things out and tried to find another job.
I didn't treat him like someone who was simply renting a room from me, either.
I gave him access to the apartment and allowed him to use pretty much everything I used. I wanted him to feel at home.
And honestly, I was happy that I could help.
He seemed much more relaxed after moving in. The constant worry about rent and where he was going to stay was gone, and I thought I had done the right thing.
Then, a few weeks later, he came to me with another request.
He asked if his girlfriend could come and stay with him.
My first answer was no.
I told him I wasn't comfortable with it. I had agreed to let him stay because he was going through a difficult time, but bringing another person into the apartment was a completely different situation.
He understood, but he kept pleading with me.
He told me it wouldn't be for long. He promised they wouldn't disturb me and assured me that there wouldn't be any problems.
I don't know if it was because I felt sorry for him or because I trusted him, but eventually, I agreed.
Looking back, that's where the whole situation started to change.

A young man rushed into a train station, desperate not to miss the last train home. He ran as fast as he could, but the doors closed right in front of him.
Frustrated, he sat on a bench and wondered why life always seemed unfair.
A few minutes later, news broke that the train had developed a serious mechanical problem and everyone had to be evacuated.
As he watched the passengers being led away safely, he realized something important:
Sometimes what feels like a setback is actually protection.
Not every closed door is a loss. Some are simply a different path you don't understand yet.
just another survival movie—it’s a straight shot of pure, unfiltered loyalty. You can feel the weight in every frame: the dog’s prosthetic leg, the way he doesn’t hesitate when his human is going under, the quiet understanding between two broken veterans who only have each other left.
In this episode Sheldon went and hid himself inside a locker 😂, his dad tried making him go to class but little man wasn't having it, Mary was pissed with the husband for not being able to handle Sheldon and also stressed the fact that sheldon needs to more social.
What do you think it's the best approach for Young Sheldon ?
At 19, Daniel had only one dream: to become an actor.
He had no connections in the film industry. No wealthy family. No expensive clothes. Just an old phone, a few borrowed clothes, and a heart full of ambition.
Every morning, he would stand in front of a cracked mirror and practice his lines.
Then he started attending auditions.
One after another, he was rejected.
“Your acting isn’t good enough.”
“You don’t have the right look.”
“We’ll call you.”
They never did.
Some days, Daniel walked miles to auditions because he couldn’t afford transportation. Other days, he went hungry just to save enough money for an audition fee.
His friends laughed at him.
“Why are you wasting your time? Get a real job.”
Even his family began to lose hope.
But Daniel kept going.
One afternoon, after waiting for six hours at an audition, he finally got his chance. He walked into the room, nervous but determined, and performed like his life depended on it.
The director looked at him and said:
“You’re not ready yet.”
Daniel walked outside and sat on the pavement.
For the first time, he cried.
He wondered if his dream was simply too big for him.
But the next morning, he woke up and practiced again.
Months passed.
Then years.
He got small roles. Sometimes he had only one line. Sometimes his scenes were cut completely. Sometimes he worked for little or no money.
But every role taught him something.
Every rejection made him stronger.
Every failure pushed him to improve.
Then, one ordinary morning, his phone rang.
“Daniel, we’d like you to audition for the lead role.”
His hands began to shake.
He got the role.
The movie wasn’t an instant success, but people noticed him.
Then another opportunity came.
And another.
Years after he had walked miles to auditions, Daniel stood on a stage in front of thousands of people receiving an award for Best Actor.
He looked into the crowd and remembered the boy who once cried outside an audition room because he thought his dream was impossible.
Holding the award, he smiled and said:
“I wasn’t the most talented person in the room. I wasn’t the luckiest. I was simply the one who refused to stop trying.”
The audience applauded.
Daniel looked at the award in his hands.
The journey had never been easy.
But every rejection, every empty pocket, every sleepless night, and every failure had been part of the story.
And finally, the boy who dreamed of becoming an actor had become one.
Rewatching Toy Story and the scariest part isn’t the toys coming to life or Sid’s creepy experiments… it’s baby Molly riding shotgun like it’s totally normal. 😭
