Kelsey. Players health is always a touchy subject but I’ve said this before and I’ll reiterate. I have never in 25 years seen a player hurt as much as Rust “in game”.

It’s not just missing games. It’s the always limping to the bench, going down the runway, grimacing on the bench.

I know he penalty kills but it’s not like he plays like Tom Wilson.

But he didn’t cost them did he? I could’ve won that Boston Bruins 50/50 …if I had only had the winning ticket.
I hate when people use “could have” as a basis for their point. They won the game and if Tanner(my favorite player on the team btw) or Kastelic took those penalties….they wouldn’t be scratched

When a coach gets too “cute” with his actions, sometimes the GM needs to intervene.
I love Kastelic and Jeannot , but there is no way either of those guys gets scratched 2 games in a row if they took the same 2 penalties Zadorov did.

This stinks on ice and is incredibly disappointing.

Well I watch games and I’ve played games. And last season and this season he passes my eye test with flying colors. If Tanner or Kastelic took those same two penalties, they would not be sitting. And he provides everything they do and more for the backend.
So it’s a chickenshit scratch by a coach who will wear his welcome out pretty quickly

I will make a gentleman’s bet with you that they are definitely sub 500 over the next few weeks.

There is zero fear of this team. No hitting, checking and definitely no aggression. No speed and no smothering structure. Even sub .500 teams are circling wins versus them this year on the calendar
