@USASwimming You don’t encourage kids at all to become swimmers. At our @VisitTriCities swim meet this weekend, several 12 and under swimmers mistakenly missed their finals events on Friday and now they are banned from swimming the rest of the weekend. #USASwimming needs a reality check!
We just found out that two other 12 and under swimmers that drove 3 hrs from #Spokane to participate in this @USASwimming sanctioned swim also got banned for the rest of the swim meet for missing one finals event by mistake as well. What kind of draconian system are you running?
@USASwimming - your rules are archaic and are a disservice to encouraging children to become swimmers. My young kid accidentally missed a finals heat for his first even (50 Free) and then gets banned for the rest of the swim meet (his next 5 events). For a mistake? This is a joke
@cheo_coker What about the best place(s) to buy Pokemon cards or Manga in Seattle? I'm thinking of taking my kids to Seattle this summer and hit up some of those spots.
#PPOD: This stunning image was captured by red sprite photographer @PaulMSmithphoto, who also layered in some of the brightest meteors seen during the peak of the Perseids meteor shower this year. The images were all taken during the same evening in the same location.
Say what? Who’s looking forward to see “Raiders of the Lost Fried Chicken?” Or how the about “The Beef Strikes Back!” https://t.co/oIUgLOWF5m #streaming
@akothari Hand written boarding pass is awesome! It’s a collectible item now! You should put that in a frame and hang it on your wall instead of getting on your flight.
San Francisco has developed an entire industry around non profits. An industry that is largely leeching off of taxpayer money with no results to show for.
Time to end this. Defund the non profits. Allow for profits to bid. Introduce “pay for performance”. Enforce it.
@jdlrobson There's a whole flock of them in the trees behind my building. It's super cool to see them fly around all the time when I look out my window.
