So after almost 50 hours on the @snapmaker U1, I am very happy 😃! So far it has been a very capable #3Dprinter. I've printed with PLA, PETG and TPU with good results.
Apart from the grey TPU egg shaped object, the other models are from https://t.co/MW4AwJ7tl1
A recent(ish) project of an ornamental violin, #3Dprinted in woodfill and PLA. For more info on our 3D printing services, visit: https://t.co/C9oHNKkwnX
A practical, visually interesting #3Dprinted coffee table decoration. Converts from teardrop shape to flower, and can be separated for use as coasters and ashtray.
Printed using @iSANMATE_ PLA+ Wood and @Formfutura Metalfil Ancient Bronze on @prusa3D Mark3S. #3DprintingMadrid
...and the finished #fullmetaljacket movie poster helmet, modelled in #blender3D and #3Dprinted with @Elegoo_Official Mars with water washable resin.
If there's enough interest, I'll make the stls available on the website.
OK! After a few set backs (failed prints, punctured FEP sheet) making progress!
Need to finish sanding and should be painting next week.

An experiment to see if metalfill filament could be used to #3Dprint jewellery.
I think this simple metal and woodfill ring design turned out quite nice!
#3Dprinted model of 18C 6 pounder bronze cannon.
Cannon printed with Formfutura Ancient Bronze filament. Carriage printed with Lay Filaments Laywood. Should have tutorial and .stls available on the website in a week or two.
SVG support coming soon to PrusaSlicer!
Emboss it, cut it, use it as a modifier, or as a standalone part. As an added bonus, it can also follow curved surfaces just like our Text tool! 😎
Late to the party but hey, finally installed a hardened steel nozzle to my #3Dprinter so I can print with composite filaments without destroying my nozzles. Here are some experiments with @Formfutura Metalfill Ancient Bronze filament - sanded and brushed.
No proper credit, it is based on @PrusaSlicer and they even left all the app icons in the repository. How could someone trust a company like @anycubic3dprint with their IP-sensitive files if they can't even follow a freaking basic open-source license? Oh and they know what intellectual property is - they have over 400 patents and design patents on 3D printing mostly from open source community 🤬
