@Gunpowder930386@Voiceofigbos You are stupid. Call it Udara among yourselves; you cannot impose the Ibo language on the people of the Southwest. In the Ibo language, it is Udara; in Yorubaland it is Agbalumo; so, what is your problem?
@Nosakroz Historical documentation: In 1944 Sylvia Leith-Ross recorded that the Yoruba style required two yards while the Igbo style was one yard, and in 1955 Simon Ottenberg documented Igbo women adopting the Yoruba head-tie style after travelling.
Across Yorubaland, every subgroup, town, and lineage maintains its own ancestral and lineage panegyrics [oríkì]. These panegyrics serve as the authoritative record of Yoruba ancestry. There is no Yoruba person, subgroup, town, or lineage without them. Do the Igbos have any?
@Zazaupdate@leemah_eesah It is foolish to ask whether Yorubas from other states should decide what happens in Lagos. Yorubaland is one. We will never open our eyes and allow people of other cultures to direct our affairs in any part of Yorubaland.
@Zazaupdate@leemah_eesah@leemah_eesah This is why we will not allow them to come close to power in Lagos. GRV is an Ibo proxy to govern Lagos State. If you’re not smart enough to see the danger, we will help you understand what’s at stake for the Yoruba people if we let them succeed in their sneaky move
@Ifudiya@GRVlagos Instead, your Ibo vote bloc alignment is strictly identity-driven: supporting an Ibo candidate for the Lagos governorship and Obi for the presidency. Just as in 2023, this strategy will fail again.
@orjichima172@StatiSense Can’t you read the data? Yorubas do not relocate outside Yorubaland in Nigeria, compared to Igbos who prefer to relocate to Yorubaland. Instead for you to ponder on this, you are questioning why Yorubas are relocating from one Yorubaland to another Yorubaland.
