I draw simple Mario toons. BIG Super Mario nerd, but also likes a few other things. An (inactive) Jehovah's Witness. Keep things real, but likes to be polite.
With my account, you'll be treated to lots of Mario knowledge and opinions. I sort of like the series...
I also like to discuss other topics on my mind, keep an optimistic vibe about many things, and make Twitter a pleasant place on the Internet.
Gnawty is a basic enemy type in Donkey Kong 64. This is his second appearance after Donkey Kong Country.
Gnawties come in different sizes, but pose a minimal threat.
I was an impressionable kid when I first tried DK64 in '99.
Although I am partial to DK's stock monkey SFX, admittedly my mind was blown when I saw him speak a few discernible words.
@grantkirkhope did a brilliant job bringing Donkey Kong to life.
Underwater controls.
DK64 is interesting in that you can stay submerged indefinitely; no need for an air meter. Controlling the Kongs underwater is decent, but watch for enemies in certain stages.
Donkey Kong 64 introduced me to the Kong family. This includes the curmudgeon Cranky Kong.
He's got some zingers in-game, but I really dig his lines in the instruction booklet.
Pics are ready to share!
One caveat with this playthrough is that I will not 100% the game. I love DK64, but some golden bananas are more tedious to get than they're worth.
Why canβt people just enjoy gaming now a days? Now everything has to be put literally under a microscope and good lord if one thing is just a bit off itβs a NEGATIVITY mountain and no joy whatsoever..
Ah! I see Donkey Kong 64 is out and about on NSO. I will arrange to send some picture memories as I play through this timeless DK romp.
As for when the pics will be shared? I'll keep you guys posted.
By technicality, Princess Peach owns two stages to her name in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
How can you tell them apart? The one with her castle in the background is from 64; the stage where you fight on the castle rooftops is from Melee.
Itβs so obvious that most ppl bitching about video games legitimately do not play video games. If youβve played games since childhood you can see right thru it. Itβs a ton of posers that parrot YouTubers/streamers bc theyβre lonely and want to fit in somewhere online.
Each member of Team Chaotix has some kind of dynamic with Cream during CrossWorlds.
Vector has an open crush on Cream's mother Vanilla, which Cream playfully uses to her advantage; Espio acts as Cream's chaperone; Charmy is around the same age as Cream and tries to play along.
