"Indian schooling system produces an exceptional, soul crushing conformity.. the socialisation of students, the transmission of values happen not so much via the curriculum as it does through the system of rewards and punishment embedded in the structure of schooling" Imp read.
Lynda Barry: “a huge difference over the last few years in the people I work with: They don’t have a big relationship to their hands. I’ve had to show them how to cut a circle out of paper... and they’re like, “What?!”

Do we still consider freedom of speech & thought, tolerance for difference of opinion, a scientific temper, secularism, values to pursue or a majoritarian authoritarianism that is rampant today?

Thank you @SenSubhadrika for coming to our zine-making workshop and covering our initiative of using zines as a medium of creative learning and communication so comprehensively.
While zines have been around for ages and are popular among a small section of artists and enthusiasts, we're trying to get minizines (easiest to share, immersive making-learning experience) to formal and non formal schools.
