@KateRobbins I usually say something like ‘wait till you get home, it’s the belt for you!’. I did this while my (real) daughter was sitting next to me, so was confident it was a scammer.
@alexisconran 11 year old me sold my scalextric set to buy a Sinclair ZX81, shortly followed by a Spectrum. It was very much Sinclair versus Commodore in our playground!
@MartinSLewis I purchased the Eufy 2K wired doorbell (no subscription required), which was discounted down to £69.99. As I got £10 credited pro-rata, this meant that it was only £10 more than if I'd renewed my Ring Pro sub at the higher rate. It's a better product, too.
If you're annoyed by the @ring 100% price increase in two years, read how I replaced my Ring Pro with a @EufyOfficial 2k doorbell effectively for £10 and ditched the monthly subscription. I'd argue that the Eufy is a better product, too. https://t.co/FCSMAeNC5Z
Dear @ring . How can you justify a 30% increase, with no additional benefits being provided? It was £24.99 only back in 2021, so that a 50% increase in three years!
#techfail: The wife couldn't use a shortcut on her iPad to switch of daughter's #philipshue lights. Texted me (whilst I was on the loo, obviously). I had to agree to new terms from within the app, just to switch a light off. Hope that doesn't happen to a medical device! 😲
