When we artificially dialed up the “desperate” vector, rates of cheating jumped way up. When we dialed up the “calm” vector instead, cheating dropped back down. That means the emotion vector is actually driving the cheating behavior.

Data from our project here! Using expansion microscopy and a FISH method (HCR), we can visualize transcripts marking different inhibitory neuron types. This trio exists somewhere in Layer 2/3 of mouse visual cortex. Green = VIP, Blue = SST, Magenta = PV. #Neuroscience
