Very pleased to announce the release of the English translation of Prisoners of Class by Chan Samoeun, the remarkable early account of life in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. Many thanks to early readers @KhmerUtopia @sstrangio and @CEtcheson for generous reviews. Sample chapters and purchase links at https://t.co/yqhGe8V1rQ.
@DarrylT11@Math_files Conservation of momentum, not conservation of velocity. The amount of momentum gained by the probe exactly equals the momentum lost by the planet. Momentum is a combination of mass and velocity. Planets have huge mass, probes have tiny mass.
Today I released the first-ever English translation of classic Khmer novel, "The Rose of Pailin". In paperback and Kindle formats on Amazon; andΒ in Cambodia, the paperback can be found at Monument Books on in Phnom Penh and the Relay travel stores in KTI

@sstrangio Fantastic book.
The cover of the original (left) is one of my favorite book cover photos EVER. So perfect with so many juxtaposed elements capturing a vibe and a time and place: dying Boeng Kak, new Peace Palace, traditional boat, storm, dust, everything. Just <chef's kiss>.
@SwampGrox @krassenstein Because it's exactly the kind of good that gets tariffed in reality. If China makes steel more cheaply than the US, the US protects US steel producers' profits by putting tariffs on Chinese steel, which means domestic consumers--you and I--pay more for things with steel in them.
@FAKENEWSCnnCnbc @Moscow_Marge@ryanp131@acnewsitics My friend. The crowd is nowhere near the plane. Secret Service would not allow it. This image is taken with a telephoto lens from very far away, creating the well-known illusion that they are close together. Watch the video to the end and you'll see the photographer zoom way out
@cbouzy I mean... you all understand that they're not saying "step aside and let the felon be president," but rather "step aside and let someone who can beat the felon run against the felon," right? Please tell me you understand that.
@BrianAllen2217E@jandmplus6 Primaries are about the only context in which official registration really matters. Why would they need to switch back and forth?
