From the archive - me and Sir Lloyd Dorfman. I’d put in a request to shoot Sir Lloyd for the cover of After Nyne 20. He had donated a seven-figure amount for the revamp of the Royal Academy in 2017 and I wanted to celebrate that.

I got a call from his people saying that he would be available to shoot at the Royal Academy at 8.30am for half an hour in two days time. And we’d have to fit the interview and the shoot into that half hour. As always, we rose to the occasion.

Sir Lloyd was lovely, as was Kate Goodwin, Head of Architecture at the RA, who was on the cover with Sir Lloyd.
