@CosmicSpacehead Used to all sorts of butchering. During my time in the Army, I had a 1st Sergeant that would pronounce it "Meeor" as if spelled "Mior". That was probably the worst anyone's ever done. I often wondered if he even knew how to read.

Just remembered that despite my last name (Moir) being only 4 letters, it is pronounced wrong by 90% of non-Moirs. So for those of you reading it in your head when you see my tweets, it's pronounced as if it were spelled "Moyer". It's a Scottish name. The Scottish kick ass.

To be completely honest, half the reason i did it was because the Alexandria shares the same name as my youngest daughter.

Against all my "peace with Thargoids" rhetoric, I've decided to step in and defend the Aegis megaship Alexandria. Killed my first Thargoid today. Scouts are easy, and I can last a good looong time against Interceptors, but is there a trick to killing them without a xenoscanner?
