My friend’s mum has had her benefits stopped for 9 months as they want to do a ‘fit to work’ assessment on her. They’re using Covid as an excuse as to why it’s taken so long. Anyway, a fit to work assessment on a woman who’s home address is a care home. 👍🏻

I looked at London Covid admissions today & they made me cry.

We've been admitting a medium sized hospital worth of Covid patients EVERY day for 3 weeks.

KCL hospital is one of London's largest at 950 beds.
On 6th Jan we admitted 977 Covid patients.

What have we done?

@goldstone_tony @WHO I think it's been THE most demoralising thing of all that they've done to not only make it difficult to get dose 1, but also not allow staff to get the tried, tested and recommended version with Pfizer/BioNTech booster at 3 weeks. Up to 6? At least some evidence. Gutted.

Some regions have vaccinated the majority of their staff. Workforce protected ✅

Other regions have vaccinated very few staff. Workforce vulnerable ❌
