@Dr_Tad@Peggysknapsack I think there are only so many ways to interpret 'All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States'. Not an American, but I do understand the worry. If they want birth rights, change the law..
@Dr_Tad I've always felt that's a better argument for the energy transition than the moral argument anyway. If you want (almost) limitless (almost) free energy, it's going to be renewable

@airkatakana@marclou Makes little sense to me. Similar dynamic with coffee (of all things). Korea makes some of the best coffee in the world, yet so many people here drink Starbucks 🤷
@Empty_America Outside of teacher-student stuff, I don't think it's a taboo so much as 'why would you take your work home with you when you don't have to'. A function of technology letting you meet people you wouldn't have been able to before
