ChatGPT in general have started to use canvas to generate code sample without selecting it not as close as claude but an improvement for sure.

Expected:
WebStorm should suggest pnpm workspace protocol values inside dependency fields.

Actual:
It behaves mostly like normal npm version completion and does not surface the workspace protocol suggestions cleanly.

The difference is still night snd day in comparison to products like vscode and cursor.

In a pnpm/turborepo monorepo, when editing package.json dependencies, VS Code/Cursor suggests workspace protocol values immediately.
json "@repo/ui": "^1.2.3"
to:
json "@repo/ui": "workspace:*"
In VS Code/Cursor, when I type work, suggestions like
