@SouthWestWater Its a mystery then......maybe it came down on the tide from further up the coast, maybe aliens did it. I'm expecting expecting more 'mysterious' sewage this week as it's now raining heavily. Forgive my cynicism but SSW are appalling when it comes to this
Dear @SouthWestWater all the brown stuff in these pics is sewage which stretched from the mouth of the Exe all the way down past Dawlish and beyond today. We've not even had any rain so you can't blame that this time. I really hope @LabourParty follow through on their threat
@SouthWestWater They were taken along the seawall between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren 18/09/2024 at approximately 9.15am. Red line is approx where we saw the discharge and the blue arrow is approx where I took the photos
@thenakedkeeper Hello, it’s our job to fix that and we will, you can see our robust plans on the reduction of storm overflow use in our business plans which we will implement as soon as possible, recognising this is a multigenerational challenge. https://t.co/sVr8fYwUM9 - Luke
@SouthWestWater we are tired of this. You should be thoroughly fucking ashamed. How can you fundamentally fail at one of your primary functions. If I was this bad at part of my job I'd have fired long ago. @UKParliament@EnvAgency
@SouthWestWater How can it possibly be a multi-generational problem? Surely the technology and the know-how exists already. It seems to me its more likely a financial issue, which is more galling as we are effectively paying you to fail in one of your major responsibilities
big shout out to the guard on the @EdinburghTrams last night from Airport to city centre at around 9.15pm. A very pleasant & helpful guy. #goodambassador
Oh and whilst I'm at it @GWR your on board WiFi is crap and your 'at seat service' might as well not exist depending where you sit on the train. I'm a weekly train commuter from Devon to London trying to not drive but you aren't exactly making it enticing
Massive shout out to @DevonAirAmb who landed know the lawn in #Dawlish this evening to attend an emergency. Whilst the paramedics were gone, the pilot was incredibly patient, chatting and high 5ing the kids who crowded round. #pleasegivewhatyoucan
Anyone need a GK for summer league? Prefer #SouthDevon but may be able to travel a bit. Happy to play regularly or fill in for any teams who are short any week. @DevonHockey
