Listen to what he says about his Haitian employees: "I wish I had 30 more. They come to work every day, they don't have a drug problem, they will stay at their machine, they'll hit their numbers, they're here to work. That's a stark difference from what we're used to."
On day 8 of our Administration, @GovKathyHochul and I announced the beginning of universal childcare in NYC. No longer will New Yorkers be forced to choose between starting a family and continuing to live in the city they love. This only happened because of you.
Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim father of two, risked his life to disarm a murderer who was shooting down Jews celebrating Hanukkah in Sydney.
Religion must not divide our common humanity.
We must stand together and end antisemitism, Islamophobia and all hate — no exceptions.
Not enough. Schumer isn’t up for election until 2028. He should at minimum step down from his leadership role. If he doesn’t there should be a vote to remove him.
Schumer rightfully getting a lot of flack.
But Durbin should be getting just as much flack. He's the Senate whip. His job is to whip votes to hold the line. Yet he just voted to cave to Trump and allow healthcare premiums to skyrocket.
Both need to step down from leadership.
After tonight, half the Dems are going to say “look at New York, we have to run more socialists!” and the other half are going to say “look at VA, we have to run more moderates!” and the answer is yes to both.
The answer is a big-tent positivity that embraces both.

- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk

Tim Walz’ model of masculinity—one of wholesome, benevolent cheerfulness—offers a really stark contrast to the boorish domination of Trump and spine-chilling creepiness of Vance.
I'm so over hating on people for liking things.
It is SO easy to hate songs/movies/poetry/art! It is not clever or sophisticated. It is much, much less emotional and intellectual work to dismiss something than it is to listen/read/watch generously and openly.
