Rift Valley Leaders are on the ground mobilizing their people to vote as a Block!
Mount Kenya is doing the same.
Coast Region is doing the same.
Western Kenya is in similar mode.
Luo Nyanza is in similar mode.
Kamba people are doing similar.
And so are Somalis.
Politics in Kenya has always revolved around the Big Tribes consolidating its votes then entering into tribal alliances.
To accuse one region of tribalism is stupid hypocrisy!
Our democracy is tribe-centric. Anything else is fantasy.
Today, President William Ruto’s main critics are his former ardent advisors and supporters whilst his diehard defenders are his former sworn enemies. It cannot be that Prof Njuguna Ndung’u is dishonest and unwise and that Peter Kaluma is forthright and a genius. Evidently, the President has lost the People.
I am disgusted by Ruto constantly quoting a Constitution he never supported. Did he even vote for the 2010 Constitution he now invokes whenever it suits him?
🚨🔵 OFFICIAL: Mykhailo Mudryk is clear to play again after doping accusations. Case settled.
Mudryk, expected to join Chelsea in Hong Kong for pre-season tour. He’s gonna be available immediately.
Ruto can read all the reports, charts and manufactured data he wants, but the real economy is on the ground, where businesses are closing, taxes are choking traders and families are struggling to survive.
His investor-confidence jaba cannot rhyme with empty shops, collapsing businesses, job losses and Kenyans whose incomes disappear before meeting basic needs.
You cannot govern through PowerPoint presentations when the country outside State House is suffocating.
Speaking during a development cooperation conference in Sweden, former CBK Governor Njuguna Ndung'u said Kenya's President has overrun state institutions, leaving officials to comply out of fear.
The main question after this chatgpt speech from the president is one…….how did Gachagua know exactly what the speech would be about? That’s mad intel leak. The king is naked.
Ruto just spent 40 minutes trying to create a false equivalence between our national values set out in the constitution and his so called “development”. Kenyans, please trust me when i tell you there is a reason the Preamble comes before Article 43. You don’t get to the “development “ clauses until and unless you have taken into account the reasons we passed this constitution in the first place. Democracy, Human Rights, Freedom, Equality, Rule of Law and Social Justice.
Rigging preparations in plain sight. If Rigging fails, unleashing violence is the last nuclear option. Power must be retained. The will of the People is irrelevant. Mobutu and many others have travelled this route. The People always succeed in the end. Kenyans will succeed no matter what!
