@mcdonaldsindia horrible service at your outlet in R Mall Ghodbunder Road, Thane. Order placed but staff are clueless. We didn't even get the bill for the offer placed. The queue is only getting longer. Machines don't seem to be working. What is going on?
Why the whistleblower in the daycare abuse case has been arrested, we don't know. I am willing to give law enforcement the benefit of the doubt & assume they know something the rest of us don't.
That said, headlines like these have consequences. When the person who reports an alleged crime appears to end up in handcuffs, the message to every bystander is simple, don't get involved.
The next time someone witnesses a crime, they will think twice before calling the police. They will just record a video, upload it & walk away. It's safer than risking becoming part of the case yourself.
Justice has to inspire people to come forward, not scare them away.
I often see men who know what they want from their marriage, but they don't act like it.
For example, a husband wants his wife to keep the home neat and tidy, but they themselves
- keep the wet towel on the bed,
- open their outside shoes in the living room or bedroom,
- don't put their plates in the kitchen sink,
- wash their hands in the plates they have eaten from
- don't take a bath daily
- and so on....
Brothers, she is your wife, not your mother. These things might look silly to you, but these little things are important. Why should she keep the house neat and tidy, when you yourself still want to live like a bachelor? If she is patient with you and trying to teach you these things, consider yourself lucky. Be coachable, and learn it from her.
Understand her mental load. Her mental load is not the same as yours. Expecting her to ignore such unhygienic/poor habits is the same as living with another man in the body of a woman.
A married man must leave these childish habits of bachelorhood behind. You are a married man. Behave like one. Otherwise, you are nothing more than a pampered, spoilt child with tantrums.
Jai Hind Everyone,
Like every year, the #MumbaiRains are intense.
Due to heavy rains, if you are stuck in Thane, Ghodbunder Road, Bhiwandi, or nearby areas and need temporary shelter, please feel free to reach out at 9769181218.
Our NGO ashram & school facility in Thane can accommodate a few people with temporary shelter and food.
We are in this together. Save this and share for future reference. Stay safe 🙏

I am amazed when patients with diabetes don't get ANY blood tests done for 5-6 years continuously.
I am amazed when patients with diabetes continue to take the same medicines continously without seeing any doctor.
Just checking FPG and PPG isn't enough.
Please get HbA1c checked once in 3 months.
Please get the following checked annually if all well. These are the basic tests.
-Serum creatinine
- Liver function tests
- Thyroid function tests
- Lipid profile
- CBP
-Urine albumin creatinine ratio
-Retinal screening
Want to spend a bit more? I would advise for them. Please get :
-Vitamin B12 (can be nicely low in strict vegetarians and in people on metformin)
- Vitamin D ( we all are deficient now a days as we don't go out much in the sun)
- serum calcium.
Patients with diabetes are at risk for developing cardiac problems, hence they should also get
- ECG ( especially if they have neuropathy)
- 2D ECHO if any breathlessness or feet oedema.
- Advanced cardiac tests like cardiac markers, stress ECG or CT calcium scoring based on any symptoms.

The Protein Plate.
Protein isn't just for athletes and bodybuilders. It's an essential nutrient for everyone.
Aim to include a quality source of protein at every meal to support muscle, healthy aging, satiety, and better metabolic health.
Will we ever get the 70s back?
Mr. Bachchan thundering on one screen while Amol Palekar quietly stole hearts two screens down & nobody felt the need to fight about it.
Manmohan Desai & Basu Chatterjee, equally bankable, equally adored — one giving you masala explosions, the other giving you a man who couldn't find an auto-rickshaw & both running full houses.
Rajshri and Eagle Films coexisting like polite neighbours who occasionally borrowed sugar.
Now? One release breathes and three others suffocate before the opening credits.
We didn't lose screens. We lost the manners.
The “successful vegetarian communities” argument is intellectually lazy.
Yes, some Marwaris, Gujaratis and other vegetarian families have produced highly successful people. So what? That proves almost nothing about national child nutrition policy.
You cannot take a handful of wealthy, educated, privileged, well-fed families often with access to milk, nuts, ghee, fruits, supplements, private healthcare and better schools and use them as evidence for what should be fed to millions of poor children in government schools.
That is not data. That is cherry picking.
Ramanujan was a genius despite severe hardship, not proof that every child should be denied eggs. A few exceptional vegetarians do not cancel out India’s very real problems of stunting, wasting, anaemia, low protein intake and poor diet quality.
The question is not whether a rich vegetarian adult can succeed. Of course they can.
The question is whether a growing child from a poor household should be denied one of the cheapest, cleanest, highest-quality protein sources available: an egg.
A vegetarian diet can be healthy when properly planned. But oily, carb heavy, deep fried food does not become “healthy” just because it is vegetarian.
Children need nutrition, not ideology. Stop using exceptions as policy. Keep eggs in school meals. Offer choice. Offer protein. Offer balance.
Great systems= great life!
1) If you are a student. Build projects, side gigs, your personal brand.
Use your time to "build", not "consume".
And, consume mostly to build.
2) If you are just starting a job, build a system of efficiency.
Get things work done fast, efficiently.
Become indispensable for your boss.
People who are needed, almost never get fired.
3) If you reach middle management, replace your salary with your income from assets.
This lowers your stress. And, builds optionality.
4) If you become a HNI, build a system of wealth diversification.
Split wealth across 3 countries. And, 3 asset classes.
Pay close to 0% tax.
Let your wealth build more wealth.
Save time. Enjoy your wealth.
5) If you become an UHNI, build a Foundation/Trust. Think legacy wealth. And, succession planning.
Enjoy your wealth.

At every stage learn practical things from folks, who have been there done that. And, ignore 99.99% generic advice out there.
We often underestimate the role of sisters in our families. No one understands a brother's silences, fears, and instincts quite like his sister. She notices what others overlook.
In the case of Ketan Agarwal and Siya Goel, almost everyone initially believed it was a tragic accident. The two families knew each other, and Siya's emotional Instagram posts about Ketan only strengthened that perception. Grieving and shocked, Ketan's family had little reason to question the narrative.
But Ketan's sister refused to accept it. She started piecing things together, one clue at a time. She kept asking questions, stayed in touch with the police, and wanted to know what the investigation had uncovered. While everyone else accepted the explanation, she refused to ignore the inconsistencies.
Today, if Ketan is getting justice and Siya is in jail, a significant reason is his sister's determination. She challenged the accepted narrative and insisted that the truth be uncovered.
Siya thought the case was over. She forgot Ketan had a sister. A sister is the only person who can read a brother's silence and still hear the truth.
If you're new to Mumbai and not used to the rains + uneven, broken footpaths, here's a pro tip that'll not just protect your ankle but also keep your feet dry:
Decathlon water-resistant trekking shoes.
They may look ugly, but they are super functional and will protect you pro max.
These are my primary footwear and I've had a rickshaw go over my foot once. Didn't feel a thing. Also in crowded places, you won't get hurt when stomped on. And if you kick someone, damage to them is guaranteed.
They're also anti-skid, the rubber really is hard and durable.
Do u know why deaths of Atul Subhash and Ketan Agarwal got highlighted a bit in the media?
Because, one is an AI expert with fast career growth and other is a rich businessman.
Had they been poor illiterate men, their deaths would not have got even 5% of this attention.
Big B went bankrupt at the age of 58, having a debt of ₹90 crore.
He refused to take any monetary help from a very well-known Indian biggest business tycoon.
Now at the age of 83 he is having a networth of ₹3600 Crore.
